The recent expansion of fintechs, as a result of the digitization movement in different areas of activity, is a phenomenon that, on  one hand, has brought a series of benefits to customers, through tools that promote agility and efficiency to users; but, on the other hand, it has brought a series of challenges to the financial system, notably in relation to its operating rules. In order to discuss the impact of this new model, Magalhães & Zettel Advogados is organizing the panel Innovations in Financial Regulation: Regulatory Equity in a New Financial Environment, to be presented during this year’s Finance & Law Summit Awards (Filasa ).

On the occasion, the firm will be represented by Thomas Gibello Gatti Magalhães, Raphael Sznajder and David Dulman, who will debate the possible disparity between financial institutions, fintechs and regulatory aspects. The panel will also feature the participation of members of the Central Bank and the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM).
